My tooth hurts. What should I do?
We are so sorry you are experiencing tooth pain and encourage you to contact us at the first sign of trouble. Tooth pain is always an indication that something is wrong, but there is no reason to worry because we are here to help when you need us.
It could be a fracture, infection, or something simpler that requires our attention. While we cannot diagnose your condition over the phone, our team will ask you some important questions when you call so that we can prepare for your dental appointment and have you feeling like yourself again quickly.
When you arrive for your appointment, we will first take an x-ray of the area to help Dr. Smith diagnose your condition so that he can take the next steps toward helping you feel healthy and comfortable again. Most emergency appointments are focused on solving the immediate dental condition and stabilizing your tooth so you don’t miss work or sleep due to pain.
If you are new to Layton and you’re looking for an experienced and gentle dentist, we welcome you to give us a call. We always welcome new patients and will treat your dental emergency quickly – usually on the same day.
